About us
The ship RACEK was built more than half a century ago in the Czech shipyard Mělník as the first of three floating hotels in Prague. In 1969, she was moored on the right bank of the Vltava near Vyšehradská skála and subsequently put into operation. The hull of the ship was built as a three-story floating object of steel construction. The boat is firmly anchored to the shore using 8 ropes and 3 landing areas. Thanks to its good anchoring, it was not damaged even by the floods that threatened Prague 20 years ago.
In 2022 Botel Racek was completely renovated and renovated. It has a reputation as a unique and popular tourist accommodation near the center of Prague. We offer pleasant accommodation in newly equipped cabins with a beautiful view of Prague and the proximity of the Vltava at arm's length.
